Grilled Steak Sandwiches



These sandwiches are perfect for leftovers. 

What you'll need:
  • tri-tip (can be prepared however you like, I slow-cooked mine in the crock pot)
  • sliced red bell pepper
  • chopped green onion
  • olive oil
  • cheddar cheese (the more the better)
  • rosemary sourdough bread (sliced thick)
Sauté the bell pepper and green onion with about a tablespoon of olive oil. Once you've put your sandwich together, the key is to grill it at a low temperature. You need to give the cheese time to melt without browning the bread too quickly. 

Simple, I know... but so good.
