Desert Wedding

When my long-time friend, Kaitlin, asked me to create some wedding decorations for her, I was more than happy to help. When I found out the wedding was being held at Hicksville Trailer Palace in Joshua Tree, CA, I was completely overjoyed. I can't get over what an awesome venue this is!

Jess (of Jack plus Jess) and I used orange, yellow, and mint green tissue paper to create both a pom pom garland and large pom poms to line the aisle.

I also put together this JUST MARRIED banner for the couple.

Seriously, how freaking cool is this wedding? Photographer, David Branson did an amazing job of capturing this beautiful day.

I'm so happy that I was able to contribute to this absolutely perfect wedding!

  1. What an adorable wedding! The bride is beautiful and her dress is to die for. Where did she find it? xo, rv

  2. bahhhhh that first picture is INSANE!!! so jealous that we didn't think of this for our weddings!

  3. Isn't it awesome?! It's also a "motel"... each trailer is a different room!

  4. Darling dress. Is it vintage? Great job on the decorations, everything looks perfect.

  5. Her dress is simply gorgeous!
    This wedding is so pretty.
    Love the pictures!

    Xo Chloe.

  6. I agree, the photos are awesome! I believe her dress is vintage but I'm not positive.

  7. Nice pics !!! Really nice desert theme wedding party

  8. Lovely. I've been to Hicksville and am actually considering having my wedding there... I was wondering what you thought of the experience or if there is any way you could connect me with the bride/groom to get an idea of their experience working with Hicksville. Any insight you can share is appreciated!
