Easy Pizza Casserole

Let's get real... sometimes you just don't have the time or the energy to make a big dinner. This is when a simple casserole recipe really comes in handy. Found here, this pizza casserole is beyond easy and it can feed an army!

I was only feeding three people with this recipe so I used a smaller dish but you could easily up the ingredients and make a much larger casserole.

Ingredients:
  • 1 bag of egg noodles
  • 1 jar of your favorite pasta sauce (or 2 depending on the size of your casserole)
  • shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1-2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1 package of pepperoni

Start by browning the ground beef, cooking the noodles, and shredding the cheese.

Layer your casserole however you like. I started with a little sauce on the bottom and then I added a layer of noodles.

Next I added a layer of ground beef, and a lot of cheese.

I added sauce wherever I thought it was necessary and after a few layers of everything, I topped the casserole with a layer of pepperoni.

Bake the casserole at 350 degrees for 30 minutes covered and then another 15 minutes uncovered. How simple is that?!

If you have a little extra time, this recipe would also be delicious with the meat sauce I use in my lasagna.

  4. I made this tonight but I used ground turkey and turkey pepperoni instead and it was DELICIOUS! Very easy and affordable. My boyfriend and our 2 male roommates devoured it, we really enjoyed it. Wonderful dish for poor college students with a tiny kitchen. :) Thanks for the great recipe that I'll be sure to use again! <3
