I can't stop making heart shaped yarn wreaths! Last week I made my third one and I think it's my new favorite. For this wreath, I used burnt orange yarn and brown, cream, and mustard yellow felt for the flowers. Vanna's Choice Yarn is my new favorite. Her colors are the best. I've used this yarn for all of my wreaths. Last time I went with 'golden yellow'...
Take a look at this tutorial from Take Heart for detailed instructions and photos about how to make a wreath like this as well as the felt flowers. Danielle was my inspiration! As you can see, my flowers are slightly different this time around. To get this look, cut the entire felt circle with a wavy/scalloped pattern. This way, the flowers look more textured after you roll them up.
I have a feeling I'll be making another one of these soon... maybe Christmas colors?!
Psst... I'm holding a special giveaway on Facebook and it only goes until tomorrow night (10/18)! Go check it out!
