Noche de Altares in Santa Ana, California. It's one of my absolute favorite events of the year and I'm thrilled that they've introduced me to it. This was my third year attending. I decided to pull my favorite photos from last weekend as well as years past to share with you today.

That event looks absolutely beautiful and the night photos are incredible. It's so interesting to look at all of the little unique details on each alter. Thanks so much for sharing.

Absolutely gorgeous and so unique. I love how they respect the dead so much as compared to *most* Americans. A day to celebrate and to respect and to bring together a community. I wish we had stuff like this around where I lived in nowhere NJ haha. Hope you had so much fun! I'm glad I got to learn about this through here.
