Weekly Wrap-Up

Now that the blog is over a year old, I find myself curious to see what I was posting about exactly a year ago. Turns out, on February 3rd, 2011, I took a few photos of my very first terrarium. Well, technically I made my first terrarium in elementary school (with a lot of help from my Dad)... I really wish I had photos of that one. Anyway, I tend to look back at old photos and find something I don't like about them, but I always kind of liked these. There's nothing quite like that soft morning sunlight. It almost makes me want to wake up early on the weekends and go exploring with my camera... almost.

Since it's Friday, I'll leave you with a few of my favorites from this week...

I'm in love with this elbow patch DIY from Honestly WTF.

A matching doll outfit? It doesn't get much cuter than that.

I really enjoyed this Sneak Peek from Design Sponge. My favorite part is the retro sign letter.

Last but definitely not least, it's time to announce the winner of the Art By Emi giveaway!

Congratulations KAT! I'll send your email address to Emily and she'll be getting in touch with you!

Have a great weekend, friends!

  3. That first picture makes me want to live in a terrarium.
And the Sneak Peak? So awesome! I live in Toronto but I rarely find cool stuff like that in Kensington / Toronto. I just have no luck when it comes to awesome vintage finds.

  4. I have had a terrarium on my "Things to Do When I Have Down Time" list for the past, oh, 7 months. Your post just bumped that particular item up a few notches on the list, though, so hopefully I'll be creating my own, very soon!

    1. Yes! I haven't had the best luck with these so I made one with fake moss and a few decorations. I love it!
