Weekly Wrap-Up

I plan on staying in this weekend and doing a lot of baking. That cheesecake in the top left corner is first on my to do list. It's my absolute favorite recipe. I mean, the crust isn't even crust, it's a thin layer of spongecake... and it's SO GOOD.

Since it's Friday, I'll leave you with a few of my favorites from this week...

These polka dot shorts from Delightfully Tacky are adorable. I'll definitely be adding some polka dots to a plain article of clothing soon.

Kate of Longest Acres continues to inspire me with each photo she takes. These are just beautiful.

I've never even considered buying a juicer until I saw this post on A Beautiful Mess. Blood orange, grapefruit, and tangerine juice? Yes, please.

This week, Katie from Skunkboy Creatures wrote this 'Stepping Out Of Your Box' post and I really enjoyed it... especially considering I've been stuck in a jeans and t-shirt rut for about, oh, 25 years.

The recipe I'm currently drooling over is this one from Leah of Freutcake. I've never attempted to make whoopie pies but I think I might have to now!

I saw this punch box valentine on Design Sponge and was instantly smitten. Does anyone remember the Punch-A-Bunch game from the Price is Right? Maybe they still have it, I don't know. Anyway, this valentine reminds me of that game so much and I think that's why I love it. That was definitely one of my favorites. That and Plinko, and Cliff Hangers. Man, I really loved the Price is Right as a kid.

That's it for this week, friends. Have a great weekend!
