DIY: Speckled Egg Wreath

It's time for another dollar store craft! I found some cheap plastic eggs and wanted to make a wreath but I wasn't too fond if the bright colors, so I decided to paint them. Here's how to make your own speckled egg wreath...

What you'll need:
  • plastic eggs
  • straw or styrofoam wreath
  • spray paint
  • hot glue
Open your eggs and spray paint both sides.

To add the speckled look, dip a toothbrush in brown paint and flick the paint onto the eggs.

Hot glue the eggs to the wreath.

Hang and enjoy!

  2. whoa, i love this! if easter was my thing, i would totally make an egg wreath. they remind me of cadbury robin's eggs (even though i'm not an easter celebrator, i do like to indulge in seasonal chocolates!)
