I'm taking a day off from my usual shenanigans to talk about something I've been thinking about quite a bit lately. I don't know about you guys, but I've been reading/watching the news about the devastation that has hit the South and the Midwest recently and it's just impossible not to cry. Some of the stories are truly heartbreaking. It's times like these when I realize just how lucky I am. Suddenly all of my problems seem trivial in comparison. I'm taken over by a feeling of thankfulness, and I then realize that my thoughts about this devastation can't and shouldn't stop there. With this feeling of gratitude comes the chance to reach out and help those in need. At this time, I feel that monetary donations are the best way I can help, so I've donated to the Red Cross and The Salvation Army. If you're interested in helping, here are their donation pages...
