Weekly Wrap-Up

It's FRIDAY! Who wants a bloody mary? I sure do but I'll have to wait until 5:00. This weekend I plan on attempting a few new recipes (or maybe just one, we'll see how lazy I am) and of course, trying to find a good estate sale. Now, since it's the end of the week, I'll leave you with a few of my favorites...

First and foremost, I know I already posted about this video but it was pretty much the highlight of my week so I thought I'd mention it again. I think I might just have to stop by Caine's Arcade next time I take a trip to the garment district.

If you have an extra $5 to spend, I highly recommend Jim Gaffigan's new stand-up special. He's one of my all time favorite comedians. It was by far the best purchase I made all week (maybe all year, ha).

Beca of The Tales of a Tumbleweed shared some tips this week about how to amp up your customer service. This post is definitely worth checking out. She really hit the nail on the head with these.

Fellow blogger, Lauren, just did a little remodeling on her blog, A Wild Tonic, and I absolutely love the new look. It was designed by Amy of A is for Ampersand. Check out her design page here.

Last but not least, I probably don't have to tell you this again, but Longest Acres is one of my favorite blogs. Kate takes really gorgeous photos and is such a beautiful writer. I strongly urge you to check out her blog, if you haven't already done so. Anyway, Kate recently posted about how to make butter and this especially interested me. I'm definitely going to give this a try soon.

That's it for this week, folks. Have a good weekend!

  2. Isn't that video Caine's Arcade video amazing?! I saw it last night and spent ten minutes going "Awwwwwwww!" I saw they set up a college fund too for him, and people have donated over $100,000! It's crazy and wonderful!
