Hey, guys! I'm back from my Vegas vacation aaaand I'm exhausted. The drive home, which normally takes about 4 hours, took 7 with all of the holiday traffic. That wasn't fun at all but the rest of the trip sure was and I wanted to share some of it with you today. One of the coolest places I visited while in Vegas was the Neon Museum. We took a tour of the Neon Boneyard, which consists of over 150 vintage Las Vegas signs that date back as far as the 1930s. I highly recommend taking this tour if you're ever in the area. I took a ton of photos. Here are a few of my favorites...
I LOVE THIS! I saw the most gorgeous bridal portraits a while back and always wondered where and how they were able to get those shots by the old neon signs... it was here at the neon museum! I can't wait to visit this place next time I'm in vegas :)
ReplyDeleteI think I've seen some photos like that before too. It's such a cool place. You'll love it!
DeleteThis looks AMAZING! My boyfriend and I are hoping to make a trip to the USA as soon as we have enough pennies, and do a road trip. This is definitely somewhere to add to the list of places to go! :)
ReplyDeleteYou'll really like it, Laura. Just try not to go in the middle of the summer! :)
DeleteI heard about this place a few years ago and I've wanted to visit ever since. Almost enough to fly back to that side of the planet and deal with the extraordinary heat! It looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely worth the heat. We lucked out this weekend though. It was only about 75 degrees!
DeleteThose old signs are AMAZING and you got some great photos! They shouldn't let awesome signs like those go to waste! I hope to see this museum the next time I ever go to Vegas!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lauren!
DeleteSo jealous you got to go there! Also, sorry about that traffic--what a bummer!
ReplyDeleteI should have known it would be that bad! Oh well, our rental car had XM radio so I discovered a few new things to listen to. Haha.
DeleteOh I can't believe I didn't go to this when I was there! we went to the 'vintage strip', which i realized when I got there is really only 20 years old. vintage? ha.
ReplyDeleteAww, next time for sure!
DeleteAwesome awesome photos, Elizabeth!! I want to visit so bad!
ReplyDeleteYou definitely should!
Deletethis is so cool, I would love to take my cameras there, I didn't even know somewhere like this existed!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rhianne!
DeleteThat place is sooo amazing! My husband and I visited there on our honeymoon last year to Las Vegas.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it? Some of the signs are wayyy bigger than I imagined!
DeleteAhhhhh! So so so cool! Great pics! Aaron and I totally need to get out to Vegas one day!

Thanks, Jenny!
DeleteI’m loving this jam! I have like 10 lb of strawberries in the fridge right now (there was a huge sale at the korean market) so I can definitely spare some strawberries for this!
