I finally found a typeset drawer this weekend! I've been looking at them online but was always too cheap to pay for shipping. When I saw it at a yard sale I practically ran to it! I'm going to mount it on the wall in my bedroom and keep all of my tiny knick knacks in it.
There's just one problem... it's been painted. I would much rather the drawer just be natural wood but there's no going back now so my new dilemma is deciding what color to re-paint it. I couldn't decide between black or mustard yellow but after my mom picked up a few paint chips for me to take a look at, I think I've decided on yellow.
I can't wait to post more photos of the finished product!

ReplyDeleteSomebody else suggested painting all the sections different shades and I second that - I'd probably do a gradient of yellows across it rather than a mish-mash of tones. Looking forward to seeing the results!
