I've never been much of a painter but sometimes it's nice to pull out my old art supplies and play around with them. I found this wood slice at a thrift store a few weeks ago and last night I decided to paint a little fawn on it. I can't wait to hang it up!
That is so cute!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jade!
DeleteThis is adorable! love the little mushroom.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Katie! I thought it could use that little pop of color.
DeleteThat is really great. I'm planning to decorate/prepare for our third baby girl in a woodland theme, this would be awesome to put up... I'll have to find some wood discs to paint on. Did you apply any finish over the paint? I have done small paintings on discs, for pins/brooches, and used Mod Podge Dimensional Magic. It can be tricky if the surface isn't total level and flat.
ReplyDeleteI didn't apply a finish but if I did, I would use a clear spray. It would probably be easier than Mod Podge. A woodland theme for a girl's room is such a cute idea!
DeleteWay too cute! I love it!
