This is one of the easiest DIYs ever! I grabbed one of my dad's old tank tops (you can also use a t-shirt) and sewed this simple bag in no time. Here's how...
What you'll need:
- a men's t-shirt or tank top (I used an XL for this bag)
- scissors
- needle
- thread
If you're using a t-shirt, start by cutting the collar and the sleeves off. Cut a few strips of fabric off of the bottom to make your rose. Flip it inside out and sew the bottom shut.
To make the flower, use the strips you cut off of the bottom of the shirt and make some ruffles. I used this technique.
Form a flower using the ruffle and sew it until it's secure. It can be messy.
Turn the bag right side in and sew the flower on. That's it!
A special thanks to Lauren at A Wild Tonic for the idea!
