I couldn't let this day go by without sharing a few photos from my all time favorite Halloween Roseanne episode. Happy Halloween everyone!
Looking for a simple way to decorate your walls for Halloween? Grab some cheap frames, black paint, and some dollar store snakes and you're all set!
What you'll need:
- picture frames (try the goodwill or a dollar store for cheap ones)
- black spray paint (unless the frames are already black)
- rubber snakes
- hot glue
Start by painting your frames black.
Once they've dried, hot glue some rubber snakes on to the frames.
Add your favorite photos and you're done! I used a photo from a Roseanne Halloween episode (of course), my x-rays from when I broke my finger last month (I knew they'd come in handy) and some rubber rats from the dollar store.
Once you've hung them, add some cobwebs for an even spookier look!
For some reason this year my Halloween DIY projects keep flopping. I made a wreath yesterday and it's seriously the ugliest thing I've ever seen. So, until I manage to put together something awesome enough to post, I thought I would share some of my old favorites.
Last week I entered a Photoshop contest for tickets to the 2nd Annual Sriracha Festival and I won! I wish I had taken more photos of the food because it was so good. Everything was made with Sriracha. My boyfriend and I had a field day. We ate smoked ribs, spicy pork ramen (pictured above), steak tacos, crawfish mac & cheese, peruvian steak sandwiches and so much more. There was dessert and craft beer and cocktails. The tickets were normally $60 but since I won them we got everything for free. It was the best.
The video below shows some of the food they served. We actually talked to the chef who made the crawfish mac & cheese and told him how much we liked it. I think we went back to his booth about 3 times.
I definitely recommend this event if you're in the LA or San Diego area next year. Read more about it here.
I'm officially in the Halloween spirit! I painted some Bob's Burgers pumpkins today so I took some photos to share with you guys. It's not my best work but my drawing hand is broken so I'll cut myself some slack. It was definitely easier than trying to carve them. Plus, they'll last a long time!
