I didn't make any New Year's resolutions this year but I am going to make a conscious effort to perform random acts of kindness. I put together a list of some of the things I'd like to do regularly this year and I thought I'd share it. Feel free to join me! I know it's corny but it's true... kindness is contagious.
.) Mail someone a letter.
.) Compliment a stranger.
.) Feed an expired meter.
.) Pick up someone else's trash.
.) Leave a treat for the mailman.
.) Let the car in front of you merge.
.) Send a care package to deployed soldiers.
.) Leave change on top of a candy machine.
.) Hide a dollar in the toy section of the dollar store.
.) Be kind to the customer service representative you're dealing with (especially if you're upset).
.) Leave a positive comment on a website, blog, or photo.
.) Walk your shopping cart back to the front of the store.
.) Bag your groceries if the cashier is working alone.
.) Leave coupons you don't need on top of the products at the store.
Happy New Year! What a wonderful idea to spend 2015 spreading kindness in so many different ways. I think I'll join you. I might not be brave enough to say a compliment to a stranger, but if there's a certain opportunity I might even try to do this :) Warmest wishes, Kristina x
ReplyDeleteThank you Kristina! I did that one yesterday. It's easier than you think! I'm headed to the store now. Maybe I'll take some coupons I'm not going to use. ;) Happy New Year!
